RIM Architects served as Architect of Record for Pop-Up Disney! The limited-run exhibit acted as a celebration of 90 years of Mickey Mouse when it opened at the Downtown Disney District. Inside this colorful display, fans experienced multiple Mickey-themed venues and opportunities for posing with Mickey for selfies. Family-friendly designed, the imaginative rooms included a translucent balloon of Mickey that visually transported you inside Mickey’s head. Other photo opportunities included an obsidian-toned statue of Mickey near the gift shop, an old-school steamboat silhouette, an elongated Mickey mural, a giant cardboard airplane, Mickey’s magic stardust wand, and a multitude of upbeat settings perfect for that special Kodak moment.
Louie Garcia, Associate at RIM and Project Manager for this project, enjoyed the experience with his daughter!
