Renovating an existing coffee house to an upscale full service restaurant can be a challenge when on a limited budget. RIM Architects was up to the task, first creating a concept design and then transforming the space into a trendy full service 70-seat wine bar and restaurant. Particular challenges to this fast track project were utilization of limited locally available finish materials, layout and design of a full exhibition kitchen, and integration of a custom wine display system. These features were successfully incorporated in the small 1,800 SF space while staying within a tight schedule and budget.
