About

This project consists of a new permanent office building on the site that STG has owned for many years. The client desired a functional, efficient building that was also comfortable for the employees and their visitors and expressed the nature of the their business. They are an industrious, creative group that generate custom solutions for their needs and build or modify a lot of their own equipment. With a design that provides one building for STG to consolidate their operations, it also provides spaces for the employees to collaborate and accommodate all working functions. The open, 2-story lobby features a staircase that STG fabricated.

A conference room with space to fit 20 people is adjacent to the lobby with an administrative/reception area on the opposite side of the lobby. The employee break room includes a cooktop and space for several tables and chairs. There is a door from the break room directly out to a patio/outside eating and barbecue area. There is an exercise room with several machines for employee use and a toilet room with a shower. A work room on the second floor provides an open space to work on bids and compile binders. The rest of the space in the building is either individual offices or office suites.
