RIM Architects upgraded the interior architectural design of this 5,100 SF retail facility to reflect Docomo’s brand and image without sacrificing functionality. The space functionality is best described as “form follows function”. The four different sections: customer service, retail operations, corporate accounts, and inventory maximize and allow efficient servicing of customers for specific-need requirements.
The Docomo logo inspired the distinct graphic forms and bold geometric styling as seen in the round global lights, hanging pendant disks, and monolithic entry walls. The energetic dynamic and youthful Docomo red is showcased throughout the space as an accent to the overall cool neutral color palette. The overall design was meant to spark excitement in the customer and arouse a strong “WOW Factor”.
