About

The Anchorage Montessori school is a single story, wood framed structure designed to provide an innovative and challenging learning environment for children between the toddler/preschool through the elementary level.

The building design takes advantage of its southern exposure by the use of oversized windows that bring sunlight into all classrooms. The school has a high volume multi-purpose room to facilitate special events, host  celebrations, as well as foster continuous community and parent interaction with the children.

The main entrance is defined by an open canopy complimented by the use of natural wood structural elements.  Each educational level is identified by the use of different colors to provide the children with easy recognition of their own space.
